Progress8 calculations are based on Fine levels which is calculated using Key Stage 2 English and Maths raw Marks not levels.

Why do I need ASSET?

Do you want to ensure that the targets you set for your students are high enough to achieve 1000 or significantly above the National Average for your school?
If you set your targets based on Fischer Family Trust type D, it doesn’t necessarily mean that your value added will be significantly above the national average.
The ASSET for Schools can Progress 8 and Attainment 8 for:
• Each pupil
• Each pupil groups
The ASSET for Schools can also calculate value added scores for:
• Each pupil
• Each EBacc subject
• Best 8 Including English and Maths
Value added calculations are based on Key Stage 2 Marks (out of 100) not levels.
