Should you wish to discuss a RAISEonline in-house personalised training session for your school, contact us to discuss your needs.
Attending the RAISEonline course will support you to demonstrate to OFSTED that you have a super skilled data literate management team of teachers and governors who are expertly using their RAISEonline data to drive school standards forward.
Many of the RAISEonline Reports are important for Governors to understand. RAISEonline Training sessions for Governors are scheduled to take place following the Headteacher and Senior Management training sessions at the same venues in your area.
Separate RAISEonline Training sessions are also scheduled for Maths and Literacy leaders and Key Stage 1 and 2 Leaders on the following day at the same venues.
By the end of the training day you will have a super data literate Senior Management team and Governors who have the skills and confidence to use RAISEonline to maximum benefit to support school improvement.
During the RAISEonline Training sessions you will complete an analysis of your RAISEonline Reports highlighting strengths, weaknesses and trends across Key Stages, Subjects and Pupil Groups to support the raising of attainment and achievement levels and help safeguard you from being classified as a ‘coasting school’ in the future.
We are now running NEW Full Day RAISEonline Training sessions and NEW Full Day Fischer Family Trust Training sessions following an abundance of school requests for FULL DAY ROL and FFT training opportunities, enabling time for combined focus on school improvement and next step action planning during the training sessions.
The NEW Full Day Training sessions enable schools to demonstrate how they have effectively analysed their RAISEonline/FFT reports and used this data to support school evaluation and drive school improvement forward in 2015.
Throughout the excellent NEW Interactive RAISEonline full day training session you will benefit from completing a SWOT Analysis evaluation around your school’s strengths and weaknesses across a 3 year period
• Across different subjects
• Pupil groups: How well are they performing in line with their expected levels?
• School Population comparisons related to National Averages
• School trends in the school in terms of APS and VA scores
• Pupil progress across subjects
• Stronger and weaker subjects to help you in setting future targets
The NEW Full day RAISEonline Training Course focuses on Improving Attainment and Progress Measures to support Driving School Improvement across Infant, Primary, Junior and Secondary Schools Nationally.
This excellent RAISEonline training provides an opportunity to gain excellent guidance and advice to support you to raise Attainment and Progress measures across Subjects and all Pupil Groups in your school and demonstrate positive impact and school improvement.

We would like to inform you that RAISEonline will not be updated with 2016 final key stage 2 and key stage 4 data.
RAISEonline currently reflects key stage 2 and key stage 4 validated data.
We have assessed the scale of change between the validated and final versions and, nationally, we found that there were only a small number of amendments that were required. The number of changes did not warrant the expense and time required to update the site and complete the extensive quality assurance we apply to our datasets prior to release.
All schools should compare RAISEonline against the performance tables – https://www.compare-school-performance.service.gov.uk/ – to see if there were any final changes to their data. Progress data (and associated confidence intervals) may have changed even if the school submitted no data changes. This is because progress is a relative measure, and compares the progress of pupils in the school against similar pupils nationally.
Schools can produce a report which takes into account the final changes to their data by using the ‘data management’ function in RAISEonline to make local amendments and produce a ‘school’s own’ report. Information on how to do this is in the RAISEonline library.

We are pleased to announce the 2016 key stage 4 validated datasets have been published a few days early and are now available in RAISEonline. The summary reports have also been released and can be found under the ‘PDF documents’ tab.
The inspection dashboards will be available by Wednesday 15 March 2017.
The key stage 4 validated data reflects the outcome of requests for changes that schools may have submitted during the schools performance tables’ checking period, where these were received within the deadline and met the required criteria. The validated data also include changes made as a result of marking reviews, but may not reflect the outcome of any late or ongoing appeals, changes made after publication of the performance tables or of late-resolved maladministration cases.
Absence data
The summary reports will be updated with 2016 absence data for special schools by the end of March 2017.

• Tables and text now extend more fully across the width of each page.

To find out about how these changes will affect RAISEonline, we invite you to download the comprehensive newsletter, including a list of new measures and a detailed explanation of how the data will be displayed. The newsletter is located in the RAISEonline library under the ‘Newsletters’ folder.

Inspection dashboard
The inspection dashboard is designed to show at a glance how well previous cohorts demonstrated characteristics of good or better performance. It will contain a brief overview of published data for the last three years using clear visual displays that are quick to interpret. Inspectors will use it to prepare for short inspections instead of referring to the RAISEonline summary report. The inspection dashboard will inform the initial conversation between HMI and the headteacher, but during inspection HMI will give most weight to the progress of pupils currently in the school, based on the school’s own information and the evidence inspectors gather.
